Use Me
Use Me - Douglas W Fielder
It was late last night, when you walked in the door.
Well I started to shout, you can't come here no more.
It was senseless to fight, cause I knew right away.
That no matter what I said, you were going to stay,
and abuse me, you would use me.
When I woke up this morning to find I was alone.
I was not too surprised that you took all I own.
You had taken my money, my gold, and my jewels.
But you'd be back again once you lost it to fools,
who would use you, and abuse you.
It's a vicious little circle like a merry-go-round
and I keep on riding on the same old horse.
I could break this awful habit if I really wanted to,
but I'm just so attracted to the same old force.
Just abuse me, you can use me.
My friends they all tell me you'll be the death of me yet.
But I can't keep from taking everything that I can get.
So when you come again, you know you always do.
We'll scream and we'll fight and we'll make love too.
and you'll use me, you'll abuse me.
And I'll use you, I'll abuse you.
